Inclusion and SEND
At Pelham, we pride ourselves on the inclusive nature of our school where we aim to cater for each individual, taking particular account of any specific needs or abilities. We endeavour to ensure that all our children fulfil their potential and, within this context, we emphasise belonging, enjoyment and achievement, ensuring all children are able to identify and develop their strengths. In our school we celebrate each child's uniqueness and strive to ensure that each individual feels that they fully belong to our school community.
We value the individuality of all our children, irrespective of ethnicity, attainment, age, disability, gender or background and we actively seek to remove the barriers to learning and participation that can hinder or exclude individual pupils, or groups of pupils.
The documents below outline in more detail our approach to supporting children in our school. If you require any further information about Special Educational Needs provision, please contact Kim Harrison (SENCO), via the school office.
